Raphael Garcia Ferraz de Sampaio, founding partner, graduated in Legal and Social Sciences in 1957 from the prestigious Faculdade de Direito do Largo de São Francisco, Universidade de São Paulo, being part of the five generations of the family to study, uninterruptedly, at the Arcadas.

His grandfather, Raphael Ferraz de Sampaio, a Bachelor of Legal and Social Sciences in 1883, was the 1st mayor of Botucatu, administering the city between 1890 and 1891, when the Republic was proclaimed.

His father, Raphael Fleury Ferraz de Sampaio, graduated in Legal and Social Sciences in 1929, and was a Judge of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo, receiving in 1975 the highest honor of São Paulo, the Collar of Judicial Merit. He was also one of 29 Magistrates of the Court to found, in 1953, the Paulista Association of Magistrates (APAMAGIS), receiving, in 2003 (in memorian), the Golden Jubilee of the Institution, being honored by the Court of Justice that gave his name to the Angatuba Forum.

Throughout his career, continuously since 1958, Dr. Raphael García Ferraz de Sampaio has always guided his professional practice by unrestricted and unconditional dedication to the interests of his clients. This entire history was recognized in 1986 by the centenary Institute of Lawyers of São Paulo (IASP), which invited him, through the nomination of the President, the prominent PhD Professor Ives Gandra da Silva Martins, to be a member of the Institution.

Due to his emphatic performance in Business Law, Dr. Raphael Garcia Ferraz de Sampaio was appointed a member of the Legal Institute of the São Paulo Commercial Association.

He also acted as Advisor of the IV Court of Ethics and Discipline, of the Brazilian Bar Association, in São Paulo.

The ethical and dedicated practice of law led him to act in 14 states of the Federation and in the Federal District, earning professional admiration from clients, colleagues and other legal operators.
